Telkom University Graduation: Touching Moments and Achievements

Telkom University once again held an event that was eagerly awaited by the entire academic community, namely the Senate Session and Graduation Period 1 of the 2023-2024 academic year. The event took place on 24 to 26 November 2023 and was attended by a total of 508 graduates from various study programmes.

Faculty of Economics and Business: Achievement and Dedication

Telkom University’s Faculty of Economics and Business celebrated the graduation of various study programmes, including S2 Management, S2 Management PJJ, S1 Management (MBTI), S1 International ICT Business, and S1 Accounting. The two best graduates, Ilham Ripana and Ade Suryana, received special awards and were inaugurated directly by Telkom University Rector, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya.

Touching Moment: Remembering the Late Muhamad Alfi Twoanda

However, behind the excitement, there was one very touching moment for the entire academic community of the Faculty of Economics and Business. One of the graduates, Muhamad Alfi Twoanda, S.M., who is a student of the Bachelor of Business Management Telecommunications and Informatics (MBTI) study programme, was unable to attend the event. Alfi, who had passed the judiciary hearing and was entitled to participate in Graduation Period I 2023, has passed away as a cancer fighter.

Alfi’s graduation procession was represented by her beloved parents, Ibu Emiyati and Bapak Dedy Efendy. The best prayers also flowed from the graduates, the senate and the audience, may the deceased be accepted all his good deeds, forgiven all his mistakes, and get the best place by His side.

Telkom University graduation is not only the end of the graduates’ academic journey, but also the beginning of their new journey in facing the real world. With the various achievements that have been made and the dedication that has been shown, the graduates are ready to make a positive contribution to society.
