Telkom University Encourages SDIT Al-Asma Sumedang to Optimize Digitalization for School Promotion

At SMK YPPS Sumedang Building on December 11, 2024, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Telkom University held community service activities. SDIT Al-Asma Sumedang, an Islamic educational institution committed to producing a smart, noble, and competitive young generation, participated in this activity. SDIT Al-Asma aims to form students who not only excel academically but also have strong character to face future challenges with a curriculum that integrates Islamic values and science.

Although SDIT Al-Asma has many advantages, there are some problems when using digital technology to support the school. The aim of this activity is to solve these problems through training and talks that focus on how to use digital technology. It is expected that schools can use digital technology effectively to increase their visibility, attract new students, and enhance the institution’s reputation and brand.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Telkom University opened this activity successfully. Participants were very enthusiastic and hoped for similar activities in the future. The sustainability of the digital utilization program at SDIT Al-Asma depends on the commitment of all stakeholders, careful planning, and continuous evaluation.

This program is in accordance with the roadmap of Telkom University’s Digital Business Ecosystem Studies (DBES) Research Group which focuses on the use of digital technology to support educational strategies. With this training, SDIT Al-Asma hopes to achieve its vision to become a leading Islamic-based educational institution and increase its competitiveness in the digital era.
