Internal Control Training to Improve Performance at SMK YPPS Sumedang

Important activities were held at the SMK YPPS Sumedang Building on December 13, 2024. These schools, which offer courses in catering, fashion and hospitality, have laboratories that support the curriculum so that students have an optimal learning experience.

However, despite having adequate facilities, the school still faces some issues when it comes to using technology to aid internal control processes throughout its business organization. Good internal control is essential to optimize performance and reduce errors in operational processes. To improve this, teachers are trained to understand and use internal control technology.

The aim of the training is for teachers to apply what they learn and pass on the information to their students. This is particularly important because principles such as flexibility, effectiveness, efficiency, accountability and transparency are also involved in internal control. SMK YPPS Sumedang will increasingly show its best performance as an educational institution by implementing effective internal control. This will definitely increase the community’s trust in the school and the quality of its education.

The event was closed with remarks from the Vice Dean 1 of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Telkom University, who appreciated the efforts of SMK YPPS Sumedang to improve school management and internal control. The graduates of SMK YPPS Sumedang are expected to not only be ready to work in the industry but also be able to start their own business with the knowledge they have.
