Financial Planning Training for New Businesses by Adbis Rumah Hasanah Undergraduate Lecturers

[Bandung], [11 Juni 2024] – The Community Service Team from the Bachelor of Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Telkom University has organized a new business financial planning training attended by Rumah Hasanah. The one-day event aims to equip businesses with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage their business finances.

This training was held at Manterawu Meeting Room Lt.2 Faculty of Communication and Business and was attended by around 24 participants who were mostly budding entrepreneurs. Rumah Hasanah, an organization known to be active in community economic empowerment, also sent several representatives to attend this training.

Deep and Applicative Training Materials

The material presented in this training covers various important aspects of business financial planning. Topics covered include cash management, budgeting, financial statement analysis, debt and receivables management strategies, as well as short-term and long-term financial planning. The resource person who filled this training was one of the lecturers from the S1 Business Administration Study Program, namely Aldi Akbar A.T., M.M. Aldi Akbar A.T., M.M. explained the importance of a good understanding of financial planning for new entrepreneurs. “Good financial planning is the foundation of business success. With proper financial management, entrepreneurs can optimize their resources and anticipate financial risks that may arise,” he said.

 

 

Interactive Discussion and Case Study Sessions

To strengthen participants’ understanding, the training also included discussion sessions and case studies. In this session, participants were divided into small groups to discuss and solve cases relevant to business financial planning This session not only encouraged participants to think critically, but also to share experiences and strategies. One of the participants from Rumah Hasanah, Mr. Dede Darmawan, stated that the training was very beneficial for him and his team. “Through discussions and case studies, we get a clearer picture of how to put financial theory into practice. This really helps us in planning and managing our business finances,” she said.

 

 

 

Networking and Collaboration

In addition to the training sessions, the event was also a platform for participants to network and build collaborations. At the end of the training, a networking session was held to allow participants to exchange information and establish business partnerships. Many participants were enthusiastic about this opportunity, including representatives from Rumah Hasanah who saw the potential for cooperation with other entrepreneurs. Mrs. Raden Rini Anggraeni, expressed her appreciation to the S1 Business Administration Community Service Team for organizing this training. “We really appreciate this initiative and look forward to continued good cooperation. Training like this is very important to support the development of new businesses, especially in terms of financial management which is often a big challenge for budding entrepreneurs,” he said.

This new business financial planning training is expected to have a positive impact on the participants in managing their business.. The S1 Business Administration Community Service Team is committed to continuing to support the capacity building of entrepreneurs through various training and mentoring programs. “With the knowledge and skills gained from this training, we hope that entrepreneurs can be more confident in running their business and be able to face various challenges that exist in the business world,” said Aldi Akbar A.T., M.M, training resource person. This activity shows a good synergy between academics and practitioners in supporting economic growth through empowerment and capacity building of business actors.
