Hundreds of foreign authors also contributed to the 10th SCBTII and 7th ISCLO International Conference in Bandung

TRIBUNJABAR.ID, BANDUNG-A total of 200 authors from five countries in Asia and Europe namely, the United Kingdom, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia attended the International Seminar on Sustainable Collaboration in Business, Information and Innovation (The 10th SCBTII) and the 7th International Seminar & Conference on Learning Organization (ISCLO).

The authors who are seminar participants organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Telkom University (FEB Tel-U), are set in the background as academics and industry practitioners.

The Seminar carries two major themes, “Exploring Opportunities, Challenges, and Sustainibility of Digital Economic for Customer Benefit and Business Fairness” as well as “Enhancing organization’s Competitive Advantages Through Knowledge Sharing and Learning Culture in the Era 4.0 Technology “.

The goal is to improve collaboration between industry actors and academics, but also to improve the ability of lecturers and researchers, thus producing a scientific work of international publications that are indexed proceedings. Scopus.

One of the hot topics in the discussion at the International seminar, is that the nation of Indonesia need to improve its innovation ability, because the results of Indonesia’s global Innovation Index is currently ranked at 85 from 129 countries.

Lecturer of FEB Telkom University, Indrawati, Ph.D explained, the 4.0 Industrial Revolution has changed the face of marketing and manufacturing.

It is then internalized and used to make changes in technology, processes, and products.

Second, operational ability to produce products or services that fit the needs of consumers.

Thirdly, transactional capability is to generate profit from cutting costs, such as marketing and shipping costs.

“For example on campus there are systems for finance, taxes, academics, personnel, and others. “What the business has to do, by the government and academia, to make the 4.0 is meaningless, not a concept anymore. We want to contribute to that direction.
